Advanced Communication and Interpersonal Skills with Extended DISC

Ready to further develop awareness around communication and behavioural styles within the workplace?

Overview

PROGRAM TITLE: Advanced Communication and Interpersonal Skills with Extended DISC.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

No doubt growing up, you were taught "treat people the way you want to be treated". At Habits for Wellbeing, we would like to take that a little further and "treat people the way they want to be treated" (as long as that is in alignment with your own values and ethics).

Yes, it can be challenging working with people who communicate and behave in different ways to you. However, individuals grow and teams thrive when each person embraces their uniqueness and understand that different is just different (not bad). In this workshop, we will use Extended DISC to identify your preferred communication and working style.

The outcomes of this workshop are often found to be -

  • Discovering the underlying motivators that drive behaviour,
  • Increased understanding of one’s own behaviour,
  • Increased understanding of others’ behaviour,
  • Increased understanding of the different communication styles,
  • Increased knowledge on ways to build empathy and a servant leadership attitude for genuine collaboration and engagement,
  • An increase in the number of simple strategies to genuinely build rapport and trust within your relationships, and
  • A personal action plan for further development to master your learnings.

DURATION: Half-day, one-day and lunch-time workshops are available for this program.
