Habits for Wellbeing is an accredited consultant and facilitator of Extended DISC. The Extended DSIC Team Assessment shows the team dynamics, the strengths and development areas of the team, and how the team members are adjusting their behaviours in the existing work environment.

PROGRAM TITLE: Extended DISC for Team Development

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

DISC is one of the the most widely used behavioural models in the world. We use the easy-to-interpret model to help people identify how they prefer to work in the workplace and within teams.

Extended DISC is a great way to allow participants to understand themselves and their work colleagues better. It can be used in a variety of workshops to -

  • Increase understanding of one's own behaviour,
  • Increase understanding of team behaviour,
  • Provide a new language for the team to give feedback to each other,
  • Give a good basis for further development activities,
  • Increase efficiency within the team,
  • Ease frustration and conflict, and
  • Provide insight in to how teams could get along even better.

DURATION: Half-day, one-day and two-day workshops are available for this program.

  • High-performing teams who want to take their performance to the next level,
  • New teams recently assigned to work together,
  • Dysfunctional teams who are struggling to collaborate and communicate,

  • Introduction to Extended DISC Theory,
  • Introduction to four main behavioural traits D, I, S and C,
  • Exercises: How to recognise the types,
  • Individual Assessment results + Name Map,
  • Discussion on the different areas of the 4Q Model from the perspective that interests the team,
  • Introduction to behaviour modification, and
  • Exercises on behaviour modification + Feedback on the exercises.
