How Will I Know If a Coach Is Right For Me?

Like any relationship, they develop over time. So it may be you end up interviewing a coach to see if they are the right fit for you! For example – think about a strong relationship you currently have at work or in your life –

  • How have you currently built that relationship?
  • What is important to you about that relationship?
  • Are their common values?
  • Do you have any expectations in the relationship? If so, what are they?
  • How do you approach conversations about things that are not going as expected?

Remember coaching is a partnership, trust your intuition and be assertive about what you would like in the relationship. Also notify the coach about anything that is of concern to you during the coaching agreement.
