What an inspiration Sam Berns is. When the video was taken, Sam was a Junior at Foxboro High School in Foxboro, Massachusetts, where he achieved highest honors and a percussion section leader in the high school marching band. Sam was diagnosed with Progeria, a rare, rapid aging disease, at the age of 2.
In this 12.44min clip, Sam talks about his philosophy for a happy life. The four aspects Sam talks about are –
- Be OK with what you can’t ultimately do, because there is so much you CAN do
- Surround yourself with people you want to be around
- Keep moving forward
- Never miss a party if you can help it.
