When I first heard about letting be, I struggled. Am not sure why – maybe it was because as a professional athlete I had been conditioned to make things happen? Am not sure. However, it was something I wanted to develop more awareness of and as it was linked to mindfulness, it was something I investigated.
In the following clip, Adyashanti refers to it as resting as awareness. Resting as awareness is not something you do, it is more a state of being – a letting be. I wonder if this is our natural state before conditioning?
