Simply Mindfulness is a 4-Week Beginning Mindfulness and Meditation Distance-Learning course for people who are ready to start their adventure of mindfulness and meditation by learning about and experiencing it in a safe and supportive online (un)learning environment.

How does Simply Mindfulness work?

The Simply Mindfulness: Beginning Mindfulness and Meditation Distance-Learning course is about developing awareness and experiencing mindfulness. How long do I have access to Simply Mindfulness for? +

You have access to the (un)learning hub for 90 days, which is where all of the worksheets and lessons are housed. If you want to use them after 90 days, I encourage you to download the worksheets.

Jane I am not very technical, can I still participate? +

Don't worry, I know technology can be challenging and frustrating, so I have made it simple and easy to participate.

Why I created Simply Mindfulness...

Hi - I am Jane - let me share a little bit about why I wrote this course.

After my first 10-day Vipassana silent meditation retreat in 2008, I had a number of people say to me "I could never do that". The comments continued after I did three more 10-day silent retreats. Also, I have had a number of people comment to me how mindfulness was a religion, a dogma or they had to believe certain things to be able to learn mindfulness meditation.

After being a student and teaching mindfulness for many years now, I have realised there are many misperceptions about mindfulness and what it actually is. I have had a number of people ask me to teach a shorter mindfulness course (not the 8-week MBSR Course). So...
