Many people and systems attribute success to material possessions and/or achieving extrinsic goals. What if there was a different way to view success and it wasn’t what we had been led to believe? What if we were creating success each day through the choices we were making? Would you be making different choices? Are your choices in line with your values?
The following 2.27min clip by Alan Watts shows a different perspective on success titled Life and Music and was taken from a lecture he gave.
Reflection…
- What does success mean to you?
- How do you measure it in your life and work?
- Are your daily actions in line with your values and the things/people that are important to you?
