When Do You Have the Most Joy?

I wonder if you have heard people say “I’ll be happy when….”, “If only I ……….. then I would be happy”. I know I have been guilty of it in the past.

However, one of the things I have come to realise over the years is that life is happening NOW. Not tomorrow – when we achieve that goal, lose 5kgs or have that better house, but now – right here, right now.

In order to find our when you are happiest and have the most joy, you might like to try this activity –

  1. Write down all of the things that you want or would like to achieve in your life.
  2. Write down all of the things that is happening in your life when you feel joy. For example – I am happiest when _______ is happening. You can identify a few things!
  3. Reflect on your list – what do you see? What are your insights?
