Overview

PROGRAM TITLE: Providing Feedback using Extended DISC

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

In this workshop, we will use the Extended DISC Profile to identify your teams preferred working style. Once we have collated this information, we will discuss results, map the teams preferred working style and discuss ways to provide feedback to each of the styles of behaviour. The outcome of this procedure if often found to be -

  • Increased understanding of one’s own behaviour,
  • Increased understanding of others’ behaviour,
  • A new language for the team to give feedback to each other, and
  • A good basis for further development activities.

DURATION: Half-day, one-day and lunch-time workshops are available for this program.

WHO: There are many teams who can benefit from this workshop, including -

  • High-performing teams who want to take their performance to the next level,
  • New teams recently assigned to work together,
  • Teams with new members and/or a new leader,
  • Dysfunctional teams who are struggling to collaborate and communicate,
  • Underperforming teams who need to alter their results, and
  • Teams in conflict due to lack of communication, engagement and alignment.

SUGGESTED TOPICS: There are a number of topics that can be included in the workshop, including -

  • Introduction to Extended DISC Theory,
  • Introduction to the 4 Quadrant Model and the four behavioural traits D, I, S and C,
  • Discussion on the different areas of the 4Q Model from the perspective that interests the team,
  • Brief explanation of Extended DISC Diamond Chart,
  • Individual Assessment results shown on the Name Map, and
  • Discussion on the results.
