20 Top Introvert Quotes

A little while back I came across the Ted Talk by Susan Cain called the Power of Introverts. After watching the clip, I was inspired to read Susan’s book Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking. This book and a few others, inspired me to continue to own my introversion.

I can see now that being an introvert is another aspect of who I am (and a gift) and I hope the following introvert quotes can inspire you to own your introversion. However, if you are more of an extrovert – maybe the following introvert quotes will help you to rethink quiet.

1 and 4, mostly people want to set standards for one’s happiness when it’s only yourself who really knows what makes you happy.

I’ve always loved being an introvert, but sometimes it makes me feel empty, especially when I’m in a gathering, or sometimes in school, where we are sopposed to work in groups. At some point in my life, I try to blend with extroverts which makes me drained up and more sad because I feel different, losing a lot of energy. The third and fourth quotes were my favourite.
I wish society will get to know more about introverts and their abilities.
    Thank you very much…..

Well, I just discovered what being an introvert truelly is, a while ago, hence the journey here. in the past few days av learnt that being an introvert is actually a beautiful rare experience not for everyone, unlike what we have been made to believe for so long. Honestly, like someone has mentioned, I used to think something was terribly wrong with me. just how could I be like that, but now I know am wonderfully, beautifully made in God’s image? and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with me.
now am going to embark on a fearless introverted journey of being just happily me!
    wonderful feeling it is…
just so if you wondering, 13 and 17 were my fav, they just hit so close to home.
thank you for the post, God bless you.

I like number 17. It really hits close because you could feel lonely in a room full of people but when by yourself you realized silence can be your best friend. Gives you time to reflect and clear your mind of the traffic jams caused by social situations. I’m not antisocial I just find being in social situations can be draining.

Honestly speaking, I love each and every quote…mostly because I could relate to them and I’ve always wanted people to know how great it feels to spend time with one’s own self . People often mistake introverts as people with attitude problem… I want then to know that’s so not the case !
