20 Quotes to Inspire Responsibility

What comes to mind when you think of responsibility? One thing I have realized more and more over the years is in order for the world to change we have to change and this means taking responsibility and being accountable to ourselves.

Yes, responsibility for everything in our lives – thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I know this is not easy sometimes, however I have found we have to go within and find the places that are stuck to release them and then we have the choice of how we respond, just like Victor Frankl indicated, “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom”.

I hope the following quotes inspire you to take responsibility for your life and well-being.

  17. “Look at the word responsibility – “response-ability” – the ability to choose your response. Highly proactive people recognize that responsibility.
