What are Courageous Steps?

Courageous steps are small actions and / or choices that take you outside your comfort zone towards living your life whole-heartedly. For over the year, some of the examples of courageous steps, choices or actions could be –

  • apologising to someone you have hurt,
  • forgiving someone who has hurt you and remembering the lesson,
  • creating personal boundaries for yourself,
  • learning to say yes and no when you really mean it,
  • speaking up for yourself or a cause you believe in,
  • walking away from gossip or negativity, or
  • following your heart.

Remembering Your Courage…

In your heart, I know you can identify ways in which you have been courageous already in your life – you may have just forgotten them. I imagine you have gotten through some challenging times and your resilience has been tested, however it is time to give yourself credit and honour yourself for getting this far. You truly are a gift to this world. Personally, I believe every person is here for a reason and there is one thing that you can do better than anybody else, so maybe it is time to start owning that? You will know what is right for you 🙂
