We are Spirit Souls..

I came across this poem today –

“We are spirit souls and we need spiritual food. If a bird in a cage is not fed because we are only concerned with taking care of the cage, then the bird will die. Similarly, if we just take care of the body nicely, not knowing that we are the spirit soul within, then we will be starved. We must be linked to the Supreme Soul if we are to be truly happy and fulfilled.” ~ Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda Paramahamsa (Gems of Wisdom).
